Smartphone To Measure Radiation - Leading mobile phone company in Japan, NTT DoCoMo plans to launch a smartphone that has the advantages of sensors and software that allow owners to measure radiation levels in their environment. Not only that, this smartphone also can tell the owners, whether they have bad breath, how much body fat or muscle mass they have.

NTT DoCoMo will show the latest innovations in the Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies (CEATEC) JAPAN 2011 in Tokyo which took place on 4 to 8 October 2011.

Daisuke Sakuma, a spokesman for NTT DoCoMo in Medicalnewstoday said many customers fear the radiation from the earthquake east of Japan. Because of that it has thought about what services they can give to address the needs of customers as users of telecommunications.

Sakuma refers to a major earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan in March this year and lead to accidents at nuclear power plants Fukushima.

The company also plans to demonstrate innovation on a smartphone that can tell if the owner of the smell of alcohol or being exposed to UV rays that can harm the skin. Including, how much the owner can burn fat in their bodies.
