Alfa Romeo delays launch of two superior product

Alfa Romeo delays launch of two superior product - Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo last week confirmed that they delay the launch of two car seat roadster and the SUV in 2013. The cars that became the foundation for the return of Alfa Romeo in the U.S. after being sidelined for three decades.

4C two seat roadster was first shown as a concept car in Geneva. The car will debut in 2013, not 2012 as previously announced, taken from footage of Alfa Romeo's presentation at the Frankfurt Auto Show.

The car will be opening Alfa Romeo to enter the U.S. as part of collaboration between Fiat with Chrysler Group LLC since they were absent for about 30 years - which shows that the reappearance of Alfa Romeo will fall in 2013.

Fiat, which produces cars under the Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Lancia brands, has 53.5 percent Chrysler stake (which was acquired in June 2009).

Alfa Romeo SUV also will be launched in 2013, not 2012, because there is still concern about the production car. Initially the production will be performed at the Turin factory. But CEO Sergio Marchionne said the unstable economic conditions forced them to re-evaluation of the production sites. The final decision will be out later this month.

Alfa Romeo footage presentation also indicated, sedans and station wagons Giulia will be out in 2014. Alfa will also launch a large sedan in 2014.

Each product launches Alfa is expected to follow traces of 4C in the U.S. market.

A separate presentation of the Jeep CEO Michael Manley shows the estimated increase in sales worldwide in 2014 from 800,000 units to 850,000.

Sales of this brand in 2009 decreased by 338,000 units from 2007 of 650,000. The presentation also shows the estimated increase in competition - of 51 SUV models in 2001 to 111 models in 2009 - in line with consumers shifting to vehicles that have fuel efficiency.

Jeep sales worldwide are estimated at 560,000 this year.
